Well this past week has been a bit hectic in my household. In my life everything seems to come a knocking at all one time which is okay with me.
I've been dealing with my insurance on the soft spot in my slide out and of course they denied my claim stating they won't cover previous dry rot although the floor is wet so it's not like it was "previous" as they so claim- but whatever. The claim is in dispute right now so while I can't say much more on it just know a lot more happened with the story than what I'm able to tell you folks right now.
Next up on the list, remodeling has been in full swing around here. We've removed the CD Player and speakers and made more room which I am superbly happy about. We also looked at similar 2003 floor plans and actually found out that some did have a washer/dryer option in them so we started redoing our basically coat closet. We've put in additional shelves, removed the coat hanging rack and plan on having someone come out and look about the cost of having a combo washer and dryer installed depending on price estimates. Pictures will be coming on the latest remodeling work.
I've also been doing some spring cleaning. Yea somehow or another it always feels good each year to just go through my cabinets and make sure I donate anything I'm not using or get rid of things that somehow accumulated inside of this RV. Regardless it's also a good time for yearly maintenance on the RV to begin and a good spring cleaning of the windows, cabinets, etc.
We also bought some more of that foil stuff to start doing some more windows in our home. I'm afraid to think that Texas heat will be returning quicker than what I prefer so hopefully I can have a better start to preparing our home. We'll be working on that project maybe this weekend so once we tackle it, I'll share some photo's of that too!
Well folks, I hope everyone out there has been having safe travels and doing good. Each week I find myself a bit more tired and slowly but surely a little less energetic. Just a few more weeks to go and I'll be a mommy!
Till Next Time....
