Have you ever been in that situation where you want to upgrade your camper but dealerships seem to enjoy low balling you? Well trust me you are not alone.
I know for a fact what my camper is worth. I have done the homework and even went through the RV Blue Book to make sure I would get a fair offer but what I'm learning is that these big corporations want to low ball you and then resale your camper and make a huge profit while sticking you with high payments and high interest.
It is beyond frustrating that corporations are just full of greed. I have to wonder what ever happened to building relationships where you have loyal customers that return every so few years to do business with you again?
Now yes I know some people will lie about the condition of their RV but in all reality those who live in them full time seem to be in better condition than those who only vacation in them. Why do I say that? Well you are constantly cleaning, maintaining the appliances, tanks and so forth. It's not like my camper sits in a driveway or storage garage for months on end without even being washed or cleaned. I take pride in my camper because it is my home.
To add the icing on the cake what really makes me angry is dealerships who have campers sitting on their lots with massive stains in the carpet, broken windows, no awnings or ripped, insane smells and the asking price is well into the upper 30's and 40's and I can't help to think how wrong they are for asking that much money for a camper in that poor of condition!
But hey, helping the little man is a thing of the past. It just blows my mind at how corporations have lost touch with what I consider what's truly important. If a dealership was to offer me a fair price I'd keep coming back to them every few years but loyalty has went out the door as least for now...
